Our veterinary staff offers safe and precise surgical procedures. Our services include:

• Spay and neuter
• Tumor or mass removal
• Foreign object removal
• Wound/trauma surgery
• Oral surgery

For procedures requiring a board-certified surgeon—such as advanced orthopedic or emergency surgery—we will refer patients as needed.

To ensure a successful procedure, it takes more than a skilled veterinary surgeon. It also requires safe and effective anesthetics and a commitment to a sanitary and orderly surgical environment.

Anesthetics

While under anesthesia, your pet is being continuously monitored by doctors and RVT’s. We utilize advanced equipment that reports changes in the status of vitals immediately and with precision.

Surgical Room

Our surgical room houses the latest equipment to maintain a sterile environment:

• Drop-down oxygen lines
• Automatic sliding doors
• Pass-through window to allow ease of access to surgical materials, instruments, and medications

The recovery room at The Whole Pet Vet Hospital is outfitted with security cameras so pets in recovery and critical care can be supervised from any computer terminal in the hospital. To provide a soothing environment for our patients, the surgical room and hospital wards utilize natural lighting. In other words, our staff understands that healing happens after a surgery and through compassion.
